Once a model, always a model!

Although Cindy Crawford has stepped out without a stitch of makeup on before, it never ceases to be refreshing to see a star letting her complexion "breathe." The supermodel stepped out in Malibu, Calif., looking chic in a plaid top and jeans, accessorizing with a simple black jacket and beige purse.

Crawford, 49, left behind her oversized sunglasses that she usually wears to conceal her undone face, and we say leave them at home forever! The gorgeous celeb looks incredible with or without makeup on, so why hide the natural beauty.

She has graced us with her flawless face before, fresh on the heels of her "un-retouched" retouched photo controversy. The brunette beauty reportedly threatened legal action in defense of her natural appearance when a Photoshopped picture of her body circulated on social media.

But here's the interesting part: The shot, which Crawford claims to be altered, was originally passed around as an "un-retouched" photo. Photographer John Russo reached out to E! News and explained the situation.

"An image of Cindy Crawford taken by me for the December 2013 edition of Marie Claire Mexico was stolen or otherwise unlawfully accessed, and then maliciously altered and distributed to the media. It has been falsely claimed that this photograph represents an un-retouched image of Cindy Crawford," he said.

"This is not true. It is a fraudulent, altered version of my photograph," he continued. "I am grateful that this fact has been brought to the public's attention and that corrections are being run in the media."

Untouched, re-touched, or whatever it is, we're taking our skin-care cues from Crawford because whatever she's doing, it's working. Good thing she gave The Violet Files some clues.

"The secret is that there is no secret," she said. "Do all the stuff we know: Don't smoke, get enough sleep, drink plenty of water, find what makes you happy."
