Prepare yourselves for one heck of a thrill ride this summer in the theatre.

The latest (and possibly) greatest trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road was released Tuesday, and it's all we can do to wait until May 15.

As seen in the explosive sneak peek, Tom Hardy continues to bring Max Rockatansky to life as he braves a post-apocalyptic world.

"In this wasteland, I'm the one who runs from both the living and the dead," Hardy explains. "A man who is reduced to a single instinct: Survive."

Between over-the-top stunts and stunning scenery, there are plenty of eye-catching moments to intrigue any moviegoer.

Plus, there's also the stunning Charlize Theron who rocks a buzz cut in the middle of the dessert. "Do you want to get through this?" she asks in between fiery car chases, knife fights and unexpected explosions. "Let's do this."

Hardy adds, "As the world fell, each of us in our own way was broken. It was hard to know who was more crazy: Me or everyone else."

The George Miller-directed flick is a reboot of the original 1979 Mad Max movie starring Mel Gibson as the main character. And while the remake is described as a "continuous chase," there will be some changes with Hardy.

"Of course, it's based on the same character that they'll play, the lone warrior in the wasteland disengaged from the rest of the world," Miller recently told reporters. "But naturally Tom brings his Tom Hardy-ness to it, and the story is different to some degree. The character is different to some degree."

Mad Max: Fury Road is due to hit theaters on May 15, 2015.
