"Oh, he's got the Hough blood inside him!"

Watch out, Derek and Julianne Hough, one of your family members be stealing their thunder this season on Dancing With the Stars?!

The fan-favorite professional dancer and judge's younger cousin Riker Lynch, one of the members of the hit band R5, is set to compete in the ballroom when the ABC reality hit returns on Monday, March 16, and it sounds like he's inherited some of the dancing genes as well!

Riker and his professional partner Allison Holker sat down with E! News' Ken Baker to spill on sharing the dance floor with his cousins and why he said "Oh crap!" when he found out Derek was returning for season 20 after all!

"Our schedules are very, very busy, but when we do see each other, it's always good to catch up," Riker says of not getting to see Derek and Julianne often, adding that he "texted" Derek right after he signed on, saying, "He was super pumped that I was going to be on the show."

And just because they're related doesn't mean Derek spilled the beans that he was returning for the new season early to his cousin, who learned along with everyone else when it was announced on Good Morning America.

"I was like, 'I'm going to be able to steal all of his moves ‘cause he's not on the show,' and then they announced him right at the end and I was like, ‘Oh crap!'"

While we've yet to learn if Riker shares Derek and Julianne's amazing dancing abilities, Allison reveals one trait her partner definitely has in common with one of his cousins.

The way he forms his sentences reminds us all so much of Derek…sometimes I feel like I'm actually talking to Derek. So there's definitely some Hough blood in there!"

DWTS returns Monday, March 16 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
