The Oscars has arrived! It's one of my favorite weekends in the fashion year. As I'm prepping to attend a cocktail viewing party, where there will be a red carpet and plenty of opportune photo moments, I wanted to give you an inside look on what it's like to get ready with me and all my tips and tricks.
Time to make me up! Makeup is the best accessory to complete any outfit. I decided to go with a matte red lip and cat-winged liner. The key product that will complete this look is a powder highlighter. It just adds that celebrity-status glow and makes skin radiant.
I chose the matte lip, so it can last all night—no touchups and the plus is that it brings focus to my smile. I'm usually running from client appointment to appointment on big days like this, so I always use Crest 3D White Whitestrips. I can whiten my teeth while doing my makeup and getting my wardrobe together. Come the big day, I'm ready to strike a smile.
With so many style options, I want to stay on trend but classy at the same time. Plus, we'll be voting on a Best Dressed winner from among the party guests. Pressure, much? I decided to wear an all-white jumpsuit paired with black leather stilettos. Menswear-inspired pieces are having a moment on the red carpet. Not to mention, I feel like white is the new black!
For accessories, I kept it simple by adding a gold long necklace, three thin bracelets and a black and gold clutch. It's a bit Hollywood regency, no?
