Move aside winter white, sunny yellow is the new hue to rock for a night out on the town.

Yellow was, of course, a major color trend at the 2015 Golden Globes, but stars also took to after-parties and industry events in the makes-us-happy shade.

Like Taylor Swift, who looked light and lovely in yellow at the InStyle and Warner Brothers Post-Party. The singer paired her airy Jenny Packham gown with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, bright red lips and a loose updo—and instantly became our style crush for the night. Also at the InStyle and Warner Brothers post-Globes bash, British actress Emily Ratajkowski stunned in a marigold-hued Escada gown that she wore with a metallic Lee Savage box clutch.

Meanwhile, Downton Abbey actress Laura Carmichael continued the trend after Sunday's big night, sporting a canary yellow sheath dress with side cut-outs and sexy thigh-high slits to Elle's Annual Women in Television Celebration. The actress complemented the dress' sunny hue with strappy black and gold sandals.

But we do have to go back to the ladies in sunny yellow on the Globes red carpet: Naomi Watts caught our attention first, in her bright, belted Gucci column gown. Leslie Mann then hit the scene in a glittering Kaufmanfranco dress, which she accented with bold emerald accessories. And all eyes were on Channing Tatum's leading lady (and after-party dance partner) Jenna Dewan-Tatum when she appeared wearing a strapless Carolina Herrera dress in a lighter yellow hue.
