Watch: Rosamund Pike's Thoughts on "Gone Girl" Sequel

If you wanna see more of crazy Amy from Gone Girl, you're in luck.

Well, sorta.

There's no sequel being planned (at least not that we know of), but Rosamund Pike says she could see herself reprising her starring role of the murderous scorned wife.

"Maybe, 10 years down the road," she said at BAFTA-LA's Tea Party on Sunday. "I'd think I'd want…to see what happens when the child is about 10."

We could only the imagine issues that child will have.

If for some reason you're not up on the big-screen adaptation of Gillian Flynn's best-selling novel of the same name, the movie [spoiler alert] centers on Amy's master plan of making herself vanish to try and frame her cheating husband (Ben Affleck) for her murder.

Flynn, who also wrote the screenplay, also thinks a sequel could happen.

She told the New York Daily News, "There could be a sequel at some point if everyone is game to get the gang back together, it could be really fun a few years from now to pick it up and see what those crazy Dunnes are up to a few years down the road and if they got on—not well, I don't think."

Not only was the film a box office hit, but Pike and director David Fincher were nominated for Golden Globes. It's grossed almost $363 million worldwide since its release on Oct. 3.

Pike is also up for a Screen Actors Guild Award on Jan. 25. Many award show forecasters predict her name will be among the nominees when the Oscar nominations are announced on Thursday morning.
