New year, new do!

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is the latest celeb to embrace the lob, chopping off her signature long longs for a refreshed collar bone-length so. And while it's not the most drastic hair transformation in Hollywood, it's a brazen move for the 27-year-old supermodel, whose biggest hair transformations previously include subtle color changes here and tiny trims there.

"Ready for 2015 equipped with a fresh new do! Thank you to my favourite brother sister hair duo...@georgenorthwood @sallynorthwood #ShortHairDontCare #GeorgeNorthwood #SallyNorthwood #BeThereOrHaveBadHair," Rosie captioned the debut shot of her fresh do on Instagram, crediting the London-based George Northwood Salon for her bouncy new length. Sound familiar? The same salon is responsible for some of the best hair in the biz, including Cameron Diaz, Gwyneth Paltrow and Alexa Chung

The supermodel, who's been busy fronting the Balmain army for the fashion house's latest campaign, is another addition to the rapidly growing celebrity bob (or lob) club. Yup, fellow blond-beauty Lauren Conrad also traded in her classic beachy waves for a cropped cut, and even Miranda Lambert is working 2014's trendiest haircut. And that's not even the half of it—there's more than 30 gals who've opted for chin length chops this year alone!

If you weren't convinced before, take a note from Rosie's playbook: The lob is oh-so-hot, and it's here to stay throughout 2015.
