Uh oh, is Dancing With the Stars' frontrunner going to have to withdraw from the competition?

Just days before the ABC hit's semifinals, Alfonso Ribeiro suffered an injury during rehearsals, E! News has confirmed. Currently under medical evaluation, doctors have yet to determine whether or not The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air fan favorite will be able to perform on Monday.

Alfonso hurt his back while trying to compensate from his previous groin injury, TMZ reports, adding that the 43-year-old, who is expecting his second child with wife Angela Unkrich, had to skip rehearsal on Thursday.

Alfonso first injured his groin back in October during a dress rehearsal, but was able to dance through the pain.

"On the dance floor, we give it our all and we hold nothing back and we do everything we can to deliver the best performance that we can regardless of whether we're in pain or not," he told us.

We chatted with Alfonso after last week's show about his lingering injury, and he admitted, "I'm doing a lot of treatment every week...I get a ton of treatment. We've got a great therapist here. I've got a doctor that I go to. I'm doing everything I can just to maintain and try to keep it going. It's a lot of work and it's tiresome, but as long as we keep going, I'm OK."

Witney Carson, Alfonso's partner, has also had to deal with an injury this season, after hurting her back during a rehearsal.

Alfonso isn't the first celebrity to suffer a serious injury this season as reports surfaced last week that a tear in Tommy Chong's calf would force him to withdraw from the competition. Though he had two appointments at Stand Up MRI in Beverly Hills, Tommy was able to perform both of his dances and was voted through to the semi-finals.

And before Tommy, professional dancer Karina Smirnoff injured her wrist during a group rehearsal and was forced to sit out for a few weeks. She has since returned to the ballroom.

DWTS airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
