The show must go on without one of its professional dancers.

Karina Smirnoff will not be performing on Dancing With the Stars tonight after suffering an injury during rehearsals on Sunday. Smirnoff, whose celebrity partner Randy Couture was eliminated from the ABC reality hit a few weeks ago, revealed the news on Twitter

"So sad I'm not able to perform tonight on the show," she wrote, along with posting a picture taken in the hospital. "Got hurt yesterday rehearsing. Now, some TLC and I'll be back stronger then ever! thank u for ur support, guys. Love u! @dancingabc."

We're told Smirnoff injured her knee and wrist after falling during rehearsals, and that she may be out for several weeks.

Though she and Couture were voted off the show in week three, Smirnoff, as well as other eliminated professionals, still take part in group numbers each week. "OMG! Amazing opening dance tomorrow with Jessie J and our talented dancers," Smirnoff wrote of tonight's performance. "I'm not in it, :-( but u have to c it!"

This isn't the first time Smirnoff has had to go to the hospital after suffering an injury during a rehearsal for the show; in season 16, Smirnoff strained her neck and suffering jaw tissue damage and a misalignment of her jaw after attempting a flip with her then-partner Jacoby Jones. Despite her injuries, she was still able to perform.

DWTS airs tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC.
