Just one month after calling it splits with her partner, Sugar Bear Thompson, it looks like Mama June has found herself a new man.
But there's a big problem with the mother of four's alleged new relationship, according to the network that brought the famous reality show to light.
It turns out that the rumored boyfriend, Mark McDaniel, was convicted of aggravated child molestation in 2004.
According to TMZ, who first broke the story, Mama June was dating McDaniel (and not Sugar Bear!) at the time the incident took place.
To make matters worse, the site is reporting that the victim was actually a relative of Mama June's, and someone whom she is still in contact with.
McDaniel has served 10 years in a Georgia state prison and was released in March of this year. He is currently a registered sex offender in Georgia.
Shortly after learning about the possibly blossoming new relationship, TLC released the following statement regarding new seasons of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo's on the network:
"TLC is not currently in production on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. We are very concerned about this new information and are reassessing the future of the series."
Just a few weeks ago, Sugar Bear and Mama June announced that they were calling it quits on their longtime relationship.
"Sugar Bear and I have decided to take some time apart to figure out some things in our relationship," the pair said in a statement. "We are taking things day by day, but regardless of what happens, the girls will always be our number one priority. We want to thank y'all for your support."
The two exchanged vows in a commitment ceremony back in May in front of their kids in their backyard, however, they were never legally married.
During the show, Mama June gave a bit of advice to those looking to find love.
"Never settle for a man who doesn't treat you right. If a guy doesn't love everything about you, move on! There are plenty of other fish in the sea."
