VPA/AKM-GSIKeanu Reeves is shoring up the boundaries of his matrix.
The actor has obtained a temporary restraining order against the woman accused of breaking into Reeves' house on Sept. 15 and both taking a shower and going for a swim in his pool while she was there, E! News confirmed Friday.
While the woman, identified as Kerry Colen Raus, did not make verbal threats against him, the star states in court documents that her "delusional belief that I invited her onto my property presents a reasonable threat that she will attempt further trespass into my home or otherwise cause injury to me."
According to the TRO petition, filed yesterday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Raus is required to stay at least 100 yards away from Reeves. A hearing on whether to extend the order is scheduled for Oct. 22. The 47 Ronin star's attorney states in the filing that they want the order to last five years because of Raus' "harassing, unprivileged and threatening stalking conduct."
Reeves' filing states that his editor friend Janey Bergam discovered Raus in the house and called 911. She was arrested and placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold, per the complaint. (Side note: Bergam helped bring Keanu's Ode to Happiness—a book of illustrations inspired by the "sad Keanu" phenomenon—into fruition.)
The run-in with Raus is not to be confused with when Reeves reportedly discovered a woman sitting in his library on Sept. 12. Per TMZ, which was first with the unsettling news, law enforcement sources said that Reeves talked calmly to the woman and uneventfully called 911 to report the incident. The LAPD later confirmed to E! News that a trespassing report was taken and the woman was transported to an undisclosed medical facility for further evaluation.
