We know a lot of people hate when someone says "I will die if [insert thing here] doesn't happen" or "I will die if [insert thing here] does happen" or "John Krasinski is so adorable it makes me die." It's an overused phrase. We get it.

But guys. These two new baby cheetahs are so cute our hearts might actually stop beating and we will no longer be alive. Just look at those furry faces!

"The cheetah population just got two tiny boosts," the San Diego Safari Park announced on their Facebook page on Sept. 19. "With only about 12,000 cheetahs left, each birth is precious."

These 3-week old cheetah cubs were born on Sept. 1 and are being hand-raised by the animal care staff because their mother couldn't raise her last litter properly. They weigh only 3 pounds each, but they are already playing and swatting at each other like the big, tough cats they will one day grow to be.

"Every baby's different, but these cheetahs really seem to be developing quickly in our eyes," said Eileen Neff, lead keeper of the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. "They are great eaters, they started playing when they were just three or four days old. They could barely walk at that time, so it was pretty interesting seeing them tumbling around with each other."

Just look at these precious creatures:

Are you ready for the best part? This is when you might actually die from cuteness, so make your soul right with whomever you need to before reading on.

According to the San Diego Zoo, the new cheetahs will be "paired with a domestic dog for companionship, as are all ambassador cheetahs at the Safari Park and San Diego Zoo" so they can learn to adjust to their new public surroundings at the zoo by watching the dog's body language, which "relaxes and calms" the cheetahs.

That means that the cheetah cubs will each soon have a dog best friend and...that's it. We're done. Too much cuteness. Here we lie, dead from adorable animal fodder, and our tombstone will read: "It's so fluffy we want to squeeze it forever!"

If you are still alive, watch this video and don't be afraid of the bright, white light because one of them squeaks a couple of times and...well, you are a dead person for sure:

The new sister cheetahs can be seen at San Diego Zoo Safari Park's Animal Care Center starting at 9 a.m. daily.
