David Arquette and Courteney Cox make better friends than lovers.

The famous exes are both engaged to other people, and on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live Sunday, the 42-year-old Happy Face Killer star explained how they've remained amicable since getting divorced.

"We just really dealt with it in a very sweet and honorable way. I don't know. We just love each other. Even though the relationship didn't work out, we wanted to still remain friends and treat each other with respect and have a great relationship for our daughter," David said of 10-year-old Coco Arquette.

"In the negotiating process of a divorce, we did it with a mindful head: 'What are you cool with?' 'OK, I'm cool with that, too.' There it is," the star said of his split with Courteney, 50. "There was no hair pulling."

In a round of "Arquette Roulette," David shared scandalous facts about former co-stars. When the needle landed on Courteney, he said, "She's from Alabama. I don't know if a lot of people know that. Not that that's scandalous! She actually is such a sweet person. She doesn't do anything wrong, I guess."

When the needle landed on Drew Barrymore, with whom he co-starred in 1999's Never Been Kissed, David said, "We used to date when we were very young kids. Well, not little kids!" It lasted "for a while."

During the after show, David elaborated on his relationship with Drew, who has two kids with husband Will Kopelman. "She's just one of the sweetest, kindest people in Hollywood," he said. "She always has been, and she always will be. She's just a lovely, sweet person. We used to run around and just be silly."

Are the exes still in touch?

"I haven't talked to her in a while," David said. "Drew's always Drew. She's always sweet."
