Who had the best time at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding: the couple or Khloé Kardashian?
Kim appeared on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! Monday, where she opened up about her weeklong wedding celebration in Europe. "The night before [my wedding day] at Versailles, Khloé drank a little too much, so I had to wake her up," the 33-year-old newlywed said. "She was laying down sleeping getting her makeup done for the wedding, and I'm just praying she'll get up in time to walk down the aisle."
Sound a tad unbelievable? "They had to do it while she was sleeping because she was so hungover," Kim insisted. "I think everyone had just such a good time at Versailles that they just drank way too much."
Khloé's boozing aside, Kim called it "the most amazing experience" of her and Kanye's life. Why wed overseas? "We kind of wanted everyone to be on this love journey with us," she explained. "We fell in love in Paris, and then I got pregnant with our daughter [North West] in Florence. So, we kind of wanted to share our love story with our friends and family. I think everyone just really had an amazing time."
Kim also laughed off reports that Kanye gave a 45-minute toast during the reception. "It was about 20 minutes," the 33-year-old clarified, "and it wasn't about himself. It was about us and everyone that was there. We had this long table that everyone was eating at on the wedding. Instead of having place cards, we engraved everyone's names in this marble table. He was explaining to everyone that we engraved their names because everyone is engraved in our hearts. Everyone that's there was so special to us."
Many of the couple's family and friends flew in for the big day, although a few were unable to attend. "The worst was someone canceling last-minute and not telling us and their name's engraved," Kim griped. "I don't want to out anyone, but someone did. We tried to put white paint and cover the name."
