It's been three months since Brooke Burke-Charvet announced that she would not be returning as co-host on Dancing With the Stars, and the brunette beauty is doing better than ever.

"I feel good about it," she told E! News of her departure from the hit ABC show. "I mean, I'm excited about this time and change and I'm really committed to doing something creative and, you know, being free from that ABC contract now allows me to do anything. So that's a really great feeling."

In February, Burke-Charvet exclusively confirmed to E! News that she would not be returning to the show, calling it a "shocking elimination." At the time, sources told E! News that the mother of four had no idea her job was on the line, as ABC apparently informed the celeb the same day the news was made public.

"I think I left at the right time," Burke-Charvet admitted. "I didn't understand the way they did it, but I understood the need for change."

As for her thoughts on Erin Andrews, who was announced as Brooke's replacement just two days after Burke-Charvet's shocking dismissal?

"I'm not sure they made the right choice—I won't get into that," she admitted, before adding, "But I'm so fortunate that my fans are so loyal and supportive and, you know, I have no hard feelings. I wish them all a huge success, but I think I did everything I could do in the ballroom and I think it was a good time to move on."

Asked whether she's been watching the show this season, the 42-year-old stunner simply replied, "I haven't."

Controversy aside, we're not surprised, considering she's busier than ever with a number of new projects, including her recently launched fitness line, Caelum.

"I'm excited. I've been working on this for over a year. It's really inspired by fashion and colors that are trending this season," she shared. "I've wanted to do this for so long. I think that fitness is total fashion right now and women are staying in their workout gear all day long so I wanted it to be sexy and strappy and colorful and be able to layer and be able to go to lunch after you finish your class…and the good thing about this line is that it's affordable. Everything is well under $100, so I'm hoping that it will inspire women…to sweat in style."

Additionally, Brooke has teamed up with Popsicle to put together a guidebook of the best "rules" for how to act like a kid. Families can participate by submitting their "rules" via the Popsicle Facebook page or on Twitter and Pinterest using the #PopsicleRules and #Contest hashtags for a chance to have their rule featured on a limited-edition Popsicle box, as well as win a cash prize.

"I love this campaign it's a great idea to get families to connect and get them to submit their own rules and think about what might be fun ways to connect as a family and enjoy the summer...and I love it because I like to break the rules once in a while as a mom," she said. "It encourages everyone to think, 'What can we do for fun? How can we step outside of our comfort zones?' And we'll like blow up water baloons and put them on our trampoline or do a night swim, or sleep in tents in the backyard...fun, easy silly things that don't cost a lot of money, they are just creative."
