Skeleton racer Noelle Pikus-Pace may have just won the silver medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, but she also has a completely down-to-earth life as a wife and mom. As a mom of two, she was in the P&G Family Home in Sochi and was a representative for Pampers.
Even an Olympic winner needs a break from all the competition talk now and then, so we caught up with Noelle to talk about her favorite things to do when she gets a rare break, her lucky jewelry, how much she's missing Mexican food—and more!
Describe your fashion style when you're not competing.
It's kinda hit and miss. Sometimes I like to be classy chic. I like some skinny jeans, some boots, maybe a cute top. I like the tighter-fitting tops with a little lace or sheer shirt over the top. I definitely love my bling. I like my necklaces, my earrings and my bracelets, my jewelry. And every other day I like my sweatpants and shirts, and t-shirts.
Do you have a lucky piece of jewelry?
When I'm competing, I'm going for gold. So I always have to wear my gold earrings, and then obviously, today I'm wearing my silver—which I'm totally happy with. Silver goes with more anyways, right girls?
If you could only pack 5 things in your bag, what would they be?
Hair straightener, mascara, sweatpants, T-shirt…and my phone.
You're a winter athlete, how much lip balm do you go through in a season?
Oh so much. Probably like ten things of lip balm.
If there was a movie made of you, what celeb do you want to play you?
Am I not allowed to play me? I'll play me—hire me! That's on my bucket list. I want to be in a movie…OK, I want a line in a movie.
If you get a 15-minute break, what do you do?
If I get a break, I would turn on White Collar or I would grab a book or I would take a nap.
Chocolate fudge hot lave sundae.

Warm up jam of the moment?
"Royals" by Lorde.
What are you missing from the U.S.?
Café Rio. Yes, 100% Cafe Rio. Oh man, I need my Mexican food.
What's something you forgot to pack?
Well something I did not forget to pack is my hair straightener. But it blew up once I plugged it in in Germany. So now I am missing my hair straightener. I really want it back!
Have you bought any souvenirs?
A matryoshka doll, or more like 5.
Other than your own event experience, what's been your favorite moment at the games?
My favorite event at the games was when I was able to visit the P&G Family Home with my family and they told us all to wait outside for a minute. Then they brought us up on stage and showed me my final run of the Olympics which I hadn't been able to see since then. I had goosebumps, and I watched as my parents cried again and just to share that moment with them and all those in the P&G Family Home was incredible.
E! is broadcasting live from Sochi throughout the games.
