Thanks to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, New York City was currently bustling with designers, celebrities and fashion fans from all walks of  life—despite the bad weather. One of those people caught in the storm (of both snow and NYFW) is Kate Kondas. She is no stranger to the runway and has strutted down the likes of Jean Paul Gaultier, Nicole Miller and Mara Hoffman. So, what's it like to walk in her high designer heels? She gave us a sneak peek into her world.

How did you get into modeling?
In 2009 there was a model contest in Hungary represented by an agency called Valentine model management, which is where my modeling career began. To win was such a surprise! I was just about to turn 15 that time.

Where was your last runway show?
My last runway show was actually in Berlin last month.

Does fashion week completely take over your life?
We can think of modeling as a job but it's also a lifestyle. We always have to be ready, especially when it comes to fashion week.

Quick, share your skin care routine in three steps:
I wash my face with hot and cold water every morning. Then I use an Avene liquid-based serum. I also apply Diamond Infused Facial Peeling Gel from Shalva two times a week.

What is your workout routine at the moment?
I've been into sports since I was little and I'm thankful to my family for that. I go to the gym almost everyday. I run 30-45 minutes and I do some push-ups as well. And I love Bikram yoga, but unfortunately I don't have time for it during fashion week.

How do you stay fueled during fashion week?
Living healthy is very important for me. Especially at this time of the year we have to take care of our skin, body and immune system. My everyday breakfast is oatmeal mixed with plain yogurt with banana slices on top and a pinch of cinnamon. It's my favorite meal of the day and it gives me energy until lunchtime. What I usually eat during the day is a salad with chicken or fish, sushi, juices and more. And protein bars in between castings, when we don't have time to stop and get a proper meal
.

What about your favorite guilty pleasure?
Unfortunately I can never say no to chocolate
