Well, better late than never!
It's hard to believe that the good old Internet didn't unearth this earlier, but a video of an 11-year-old Kate Middleton starring as Eliza Doolittle in a school production of My Fair Lady has just now randomly surfaced.
In the clip, obtained by the Daily Mail, we see the girl who would one day become the Duchess of Cambridge portraying the flower girl being taught to speak like a, well, duchess, by Professor Henry Higgins.
Of course, what certainly makes the footage memorable is hearing Prince William's wife speaking in a Cockney accent while reciting the play's famous "The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain" line, much to the delight of the audience.
And almost as interesting as seeing the future royal show off her acting chops is seeing the very earlier stage work work of a student who grow up to be an actor.
It seems Middleton's love interest in the production was played by Andrew Alexander, who went on to star in Downton Abbey as Sir John Bullock.
