If you're excited to check out this year's Bud Light Hotel, last year's events may get you even more revved up.

For the 2013 Super Bowl, Bud Light transformed the Wyndham Riverfront Hotel in New Orleans into the Bud Light Hotel, turning its driveway into a VIP lounge, where hot dancers writhed around in front of the hotel's front windows.

And that was just the beginning.

The hotel's rooms were stocked with Bud Light swag, including Bud Light towels, pillows and shampoo, and the lighting and carpets were changed to a "Bud Light" blue hue.

Sounds fun right?

The weekend kicked off with a high-energy concert featuring Lil Wayne and Big Boi, followed by an EA Sports' Madden Bowl video game competition.

According to ESPN, NFL gamers like Drew Brees, Victor Cruz, Arian Foster and more got into a heated competition to win the games at the event, with Denard Robinson, Kenjon Barner and E.J. Manuel eventually taking home the massive trophy (and some bragging rights).

"I've been playing ‘Madden' since ‘Madden 95' on the Sega Genesis, so I've had plenty of practice throughout the years to make this championship happen," Manuel told the network. "It was a great team effort. We just came out here and did what we had to do to win. It felt like a real game out there."

Rolling Stone's Friday night party that year at the Bud Light Hotel was pretty awesome, with the magazine rolling out the Bud-Light colored blue carpet for the likes of Sofia Vergara, Sir Paul McCartney, Neil Patrick Harris and Craig Ferguson, among other stars, athletes and sportscasters, according to Nola.com.

In a decked out tent at the venue, Flo Rida performed with a live band that night, rapping "Low," "Right Round," and "Let It Roll," and had the crowd chanting, "When I say Bud, you say Light!"

Then Pitbull took the stage, keeping guests on their feet for the rest of the night.

Saturday night, Stevie Wonder, Gary Clark Jr., Janelle Monae and Passion Pit performed, with Wonder playing the piano and singing his hit songs like "Isn't She Lovely" and "Don't You Worry Bout a Thing."

This year, the 2014 Bud Light Hotel will be held aboard Norwegian's 4,028-passenger Getaway ship, with events kicking off Thursday, Jan. 30 in New York City.
