Things are getting hot and heavy on the set of Fifty Shades of Grey—but that's to be expected!
The highly anticipated film's producer, Michael De Luca, spoke with E! News about how filming is going at the Producers Guild Awards over the weekend in Los Angeles.
"It's hot," he said of Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan's chemistry throughout shooting. "I think we are a little more than halfway through but it's going really good. I'm excited!"
So how are the future Mr. Grey and Anastasia Steele getting along with one another when the cameras aren't rolling?
"The chemistry is there, they genuinely like each other," De Luca revealed to us. "They're enjoying the story, the story is so powerful."
That goes without saying, right?
A second source told E! News that the two have already "filmed a majority of the sex scenes and really hit it off."
But there's one thing fans should know before stepping foot into the theaters next year: the sex scenes are going to be much tamer than in the E.L. James erotica novel.
"It's less racy than the book," a source recently shared with us. "They felt it would be too much, so they have dialed those scenes back."
When they're not busy locking lips in front of the camera, Johnson has been spending time with her boyfriend Jordan Masterson.
Masterson has been in Vancouver while his leading lady films and the two "appear to be very happy" during their downtime enjoying everything the city has to offer.
So get ready, everyone! Fifty Shades of Grey hits theaters Feb. 13, 2015.
(E! and Universal Pictures are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
