Goldie Hawn charmed audiences for decades with roles in Private Benjamin, Overboard and The First Wives Club. And yet, in 2002, the actress decided to take an indefinite hiatus from moviemaking.

Perhaps the 68-year-old Oscar winner is ready to return to Tinseltown. Hawn recently moved from WME to CAA, leading many insiders to believe that she's angling to get back on the big screen. Kurt Russell's longtime partner hasn't appeared in a movie since The Banger Sisters, a role that earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actress (Motion Picture Musical or Comedy).

Hawn, who voiced Peggy McGee in a 2013 episode of Disney Channel's Phineas and Ferb, has devoted the past 11 years to her Hawn Foundation, which focuses on children and education. The organization, which operates in five continents, involves educators, neuroscientists, psychologists and experts in mindful awareness teaching children how to have a positive outlook and how to help others.

Kate Hudson's mom was most recently set to star in HBO's The Viagra Diaries pilot, which was created by Sex and the City's Darren Starr and costarred Bridesmaids' Wendi McLendon-Covey. Hawn bowed out in March 2012 for undisclosed reasons.

The Death Becomes Her star hasn't shunned the spotlight entirely since she stopped acting. In addition to writing a number of books (including the 2005 memoir A Lotus Grows in the Mud), she shared insights from her life in a January 2012 episode of Oprah's Master Class.

And, during Golden Globes weekend, she partied with Julia Roberts and Gwyneth Paltrow at the star-studded 3rd Annual Sean Penn & Friends Help Haiti Home Gala. Hawn shared a picture on Twitter and wrote, "Fun night at the @JPHRO fundraiser for #Haiti relief with these angels."
