Soon after news broke that they had quietly parted ways several months ago, the Americans star was spotted out and about New York City with the couple's nearly 2-year-old daughter, Willa, on Thursday, Dec. 5.
Sporting a sweater and purple scarf, the 37-year-old actress lovingly carried her little one, who adorably wore a big furry hat and cute red rain boots.
Russell and Deary tied the knot in 2007 on Valentine's Day. In addition to Willa, they are also parents to 6-year-old son River.
"They have been separated since early summer," Russell's rep told E! News this morning. "The separation is amicable and their focus is on their children."
Word of the breakup comes just one day after the mother-of-two was awakened by two burglars in her New York City townhouse.
The NYPD confirmed to E! News that they received a call around 3 a.m. from Russell, who told police she heard noises upstairs and when she went to find out what it was, she found her living room window and front door open.
Police arrested two men a few blocks away from Russell's home and they had a Mac computer, a necklace, a pair of earrings and a bag in their possession. The men have been charged with criminal possession of her property and with burglary for a different incident. They have not been charged with the burglary incident.
