While a lot of A-list talent may scoff at the idea of lending their talents to a television commercial, Scarlett Johansson was more than happy to do just that for the latest Dolce & Gabbana ad.

Of course, the fact that legendary director Martin Scorsese helmed the project and the oh-so-handsome Matthew McConaughey starred opposite her certainly helped sweeten the deal.

Johansson, like many Hollywood stars, had always dreamed of working with Scorsese, and the short TV spot, which clocks in at just over two minutes, definitely lived up to her expectations.

"I think probably yesterday, I had something to ask Marty and I shouted across the street, ‘Um, can I talk to Marty for a second?' and I realized I've been waiting my whole life to say that," the actress gushed in a behind-the-scenes video on the set of the commercial.

And though Johansson has worked with other Hollywood heavy hitters, like Woody Allen on full-length films, she admits her experience collaborating with the director is not one she'll soon forget.

"Just getting to work with Martin Scorsese has been all around hugely memorable, and having him say things to me like, ‘That was a great take' really will always stick in my memory," she said.

And Johansson had nothing but nice things to say about her hunky costar, too.

"It was wonderful working with Matthew," the 28-year-old shared. "I think he's the perfect leading man onscreen and off. You know, he's charming and charismatic and has a lot of the qualities that audiences love."

Commercial or not, sounds like the Dolce & Gabbana ad was one of ScarJo's favorite projects to date!
