Scarves are to autumn what trench coats are to springtime—they help fight off that nip in the air.

And with fall already fading into winter, stars have been layering on the classic accessories on a regular basis, flaunting a wide variety of silk cashmere blends and chunky knit styles.

Take, Selena Gomez who looked snug in an infinity wrap and long sleeve top recently. Or Kate Beckinsale, who wisely threw on a cozy cashmere one while traveling. After all, the only thing worst than suffering through frosty temperatures outside is freezing on an airplane during a long flight.
