Rihanna took a walk on the wild side over the weekend—literally. Before the "Pour It Up" performed at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Sunday, Oct. 13, she visited a local animal sanctuary. While there, the 25-year-old Barbadian beauty bonded with a lion cub and a baby giraffe.
Wearing an oversized graphic tee and camouflage boots, Rihanna cuddled with the ferocious feline and fed the long-necked ruminant. She shared several pictures (taken by photographers Gomillion and Leupold) via her Instagram account and wrote "Mama AfRIHca!!!" in multiple captions.
Later that night, Rihanna performed for more than 90,000 screaming fans. She is the youngest artist to ever sell out the stadium, per her Instagram account.
The pop star's Diamonds World Tour continues Wednesday, Oct. 16, at Cape Town Stadium in South Africa. Her trek ends in November when she performs in New Orleans, Louisiana.
