She is queen, hear her roar!

Katy Perry is continuing her female power movement, this time by playing a rebellious royal in her latest fragrance ad for Killer Queen. In the 30-second clip, the pop star dresses up as a bored Marie Antoinette look-alike (powdered face, white wig and all!). But her blasé attitude doesn't last long. The singer quickly breaks out of her corset-adorned gown by slashing it into a mini, tosses her statement necklace and ditches her wig, which, of course, reveals her signature long black locks.

The star struts down the hall—of what we're assuming is a palace of some sort—winking at some slack-jawed gentlemen along the way. When she finally reaches the throne she kicks it over, crowns herself, perches on top of the fallen chair and tells fans to "Own the throne."

Although the brief clip only lasts 30 seconds, the singer has been waiting nearly nine months to share the video with fans. Early today the singer wrote on her Twitter: "Finally! I get to share this ROYAL shoot I did in January with the great Jonas Akerlund."
