Back to school means new pencils, new backpacks, and a brand-new season of Glee!

Fox has just released an all-new promo for Glee's fifth season and we're definitely feeling a wide range of emotions after watching it. With the tragic and sudden passing of star actor Cory Monteith, it has been difficult for us gleeks to muster up positive feelings toward the new season.

However, based off this short yet sweet teaser it looks like Glee is really striving to give fans the heart-felt, one-of-a-kind sensation that we all first felt nearly four years ago.

Although the promo, entitled "Once Again," does not contain any new footage from the series' upcoming fifth season, it does feature many of season four's most heart-warming moments. The video is also paired with peppy music and nostalgia-inducing words: "Once again with feeling. Once again with drama. Once again with passion. Are you ready to go once again?"

It's definitely an upbeat angle, but we can't help but notice that during this 20-second montage of past moments, Monteith's character Finn Hudson, is not shown once. Recently Ryan Murphy clarified that in Monteith's tribute episode, Finn will not die of a drug overdose. 'This episode is about a celebration of that character's life.' That might be weird for some people, but it felt really exploitative to do it any other way," Murphy said.

Don't miss the season five premiere of Glee Thursday, Sept. 26 at 9 p.m. on Fox!
