Emily Mortimer is one class act.

The Newsroom star, who plays the character of producer MacKenzie McHale, is currently gracing the August cover of Beach magazine and looking lovelier than ever.

Taking a break from her multi-tasking life as an actor, mother of two and wife, the British beauty lounges casually in a floral print robe accessorized with an oversized cocktail ring for a touch of glamour at her idyllic Hamptons home.

Stunning!

Her hair is undone and intentionally tousled, while her makeup is soft and subdued, enhancing her classic beauty.

The actress sits down with the glossy lifestyle publication and opens up about her road to stardom with her very own candid down-to-earth charm, that we so warmly embrace.

"I never learned how to act, so some part of me feels like I'm not ‘the real deal' because I didn't train," she admitted in the interview.

"I like the feeling of being terrified and not knowing what I'm doing. Unless I'm closing my eyes, holding my nose and leaping to my death off a cliff, I don't know how to be. That's how I know to live life."

And it's that same zest that has carried Mortimer into a number of different roles, including that of a family matriarch, raising son Sam, 9, and daughter May, 3, with husband Alessandra Nivola. The family has a jam-packed European vacation planned in the coming weeks.

From London to Liguria and Sardinia and finally to the Vatican, where she anticipates a chance meeting with the pope, Mortimer's summer trip is filled with just as much charisma and excitement as she brings to the small screen.

Bon voyage!
