Last night, the "Come & Get It" singer enjoyed an intimate b-day dinner alongside family and friends at L.A.'s Bagatelle restaurant.
"The party was great," a source tells E! News. "They did a private dinner for about 20 people, all close family and friends. She was in great spirits and all smiles all night. Ashley Benson [Gomez's Spring Breakers costar] and Francia Raisa joined her for the night."
Gomez's birthday dinner was served family style and included the Salade Saesar de Bagatelle (special request), Tuna Tartar, Parisian Gnocchi and the signature Whole Truffle-Roasted Chicken along with French fries. The eatery even created a special menu for the night with the message "Happy 21st Birthday Selena!" For dessert, they indulged in the Mega Sundae and a personalized birthday cake.
Gomez, who rocked a Missguided crop top with white high-waisted shorts for the party, posted a photo of her and her pals around her birthday cake during the night, writing, "Thank you to @bagatellela for an amazing bday!!!! It's a birthday WEEK! #werk #becauseIcan."
Gomez turned 21 on Monday, July 22 (same birthday as the royal baby!). She posted a special music video for her song "Birthday" in honor of her big day. "I wanted to celebrate my 21st Birthday with all of you, so we made this video for us all to celebrate to," she shared along with the video. "Thank You for all the love and support you have shown and continue to show me. I love you all so much!!"
She also recently shared a pic of her dancing and celebrating with friends with the message, "Safe to say, I'm enjoying this very much ;) THANK YOU for all the bday love! I love you guys so much."
Yesterday, Gomez's BFF Taylor Swift sent her a b-day message via Twitter. "Happy 21st birthday to my friend, and the closest thing I've ever had to a sister, @selenagomez!!"
And to top off Gomez's sweet birthday celebration, her new album Stars Dance, which just dropped, shot straight to the top of the music charts. "#1 AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" she tweeted. Congrats!
