Fans of Steve Jobs might think different(ly) about Apple's founder after seeing Ashton Kutcher playing him on the big screen.

The trailer for the forthcoming Jobs is online and by the looks of it, the 35-year-old actor works to capture the late inventor's signature turtle-neck look and mannerisms. And at first blush, he appears to have done a pretty good, um, job.

The biopic chronicles Jobs' creation of the famed computer company out of his garage with fellow computer wiz Steve Wozniak through Apple's rise under Jobs' leadership to a force that literally transformed society.

That's largely due to his vision for ingenious design that not only made computers as easy to use as a household appliance but helped usher in the digital age with such seminal products as the iPod and iPhone.

As the teaser shows, however, there were many bumps along the way, including getting fired by Apple's board only to return in 1998 to save the company from bankruptcy.

Whether or not moviegoers embrace this film about the mercurial bearded entrepreneur, only time will tell. But one person is not thrilled already from what he's seen...

That would be Wozniak.

The engineer and programmer told Gizmodo after watching a clip that the drama gets Apple's birth "totally wrong."

Jobs, which costars Josh Gadd, Dermot Mulroney and Matthew Modine, hits theaters Aug. 16.
