"She is a really good friend, and I am very happy she came to the Met for the first time," he said of Kanye West's ladylove. "I think she looked amazing. She was the most beautiful pregnant woman I dressed in my career,"
The designer went on to say his inspiration for the look was all about family: "She is the future wife of a really good friend of mine. I wanted to have a moment of family…Kim, Kanye and the baby."
As for all the floral design, the designer had a simple explanation: "To me pregnancy is the most beautiful thing in the world, and when you celebrate something, you give people flowers. "
And although Kim is quite the designer herself these days (she and sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian Odom are the minds behind their Kardashian Kollection clothing line), when it came time for her first Met she completely trusted Tisci. "Kim said 'Ricky, I love what you're doing so much, I am in your hands," he told the mag.
Judging from all the fun she shared on her Instagram, it seems she was extremely happy with the outcome.
