Like the quick-witted hedonist he plays on Game of Thrones, Peter Dinklage sees the forest for the trees.
And yet, he hasn't come to terms with the fact that a lot of fans just find the 4-foot-5-inch actor hot.
"'DwILF,' as in 'Dwarf I'd Like to F--k'? That's very clever," Dinklage said, responding to a question from Playboy about his current sex-symbol status, thanks in no small part to his scene-stealing role as Tyrion Lannister on GoT.
"Honestly, I think there's an irony in all of this," the Golden Globe winner tells the men's magazine. "I take it with a grain of salt. They'll say, 'Oh, he's sexy,' but women still go for guys who are 6-foot-2. It's nice that people are thinking outside the box, but I don't believe any of it for a minute."
Asked if reaching this new tier of stardom has truly led to a 600-percent increase in sexual activity in his life, as surmised in the YouTube video "Peter Dinklage Gets So Much P--y," the 43-year-old actor (who recently celebrated his eighth wedding anniversary and has a daughter) cracked, "By 'p---y" do they mean actual p---y? Or is it a metaphor, like for gardening? Because if that's the case, then yes, I've been doing a lot of gardening lately.
"If they mean sex, they might be getting me confused with somebody else. But if p---y means wearing old-man sweaters and watering my herb garden, then absolutely, I'm getting so much p---y."
Channing Tatum, you're on notice.
