Adele, Jlo

The guy who wanted to share stage time with Adele had better hope that Will Smith isn't on his jury.

Not that Vitalii Sediuk, who in addition to allegedly crashing the Grammys also planted a kiss on Smith during a Men in Black 3 premiere last year, will necessarily go to trial.

But the Ukrainian reporter has been officially charged with one count apiece of willfully leaving a spectator area to go into a performance area and interfering and delaying program participants, misdemeanor charges that could net him a $1,000 fine (per count) or six months in jail if he's convicted.

"The safety and protection of both participants and attendees of major events held in this city is a priority of my office," L.A. City Attorney Carmen Trutanich said in a statement obtained by E! News.

"In this age of heightened security, any person who intentionally crosses that line and acts in an irresponsible manner will be held accountable for his or her actions."

It was a blink-and-miss-it moment, but Sediuk was later identified as the man who could just be heard telling Adele, who was accepting the Grammy for best pop vocal performance, that he loved her.

Presenter Jennifer Lopez gave him the ole once-over as he trotted offstage—and so did police, who arrested him that night on suspicion of trespassing.
