It's a bookworm baby shower!

That was the theme for mama-to-be Jenna Bush Hager's big celebration which took place at the Peter Callahan Catering studio in New York.

The Today show contributor and former teacher, who is expecting her first child with hubby Henry Hager, was presented with a variety of kiddie reads, each inscribed with parenting advice from her morning show colleagues.

"My husband Henry came and surprised me. Everyone gave me books, which was really sweet because I'm a teacher and my mom was a librarian so I grew up with a mother that read to us all the time," President George W. Bush's daughter explained.

But not every book was appropriate for bedtime (at least for kids, that is):

"The strangest book I got was Fifty Shades of Grey," she said, admitting the gag gift was meant to inspire baby No. 2. "I said we don't need a baby No. 2 yet, let's just get No. 1 out first!"

As for the menu?

Guests noshed on bite-size treats including caviar-topped cracker rings shaped like pacifiers (too cute!) as well as mini pizzas, sliders and baby Coca-Cola bottles.

And of course, the décor was complete with a neutral seafoam-green color scheme, as the couple does not know the sex of their child.

Talk about a fabulous celebration! Can't wait to meet their bundle of joy.
