Selena Gomez is taking the silver screen by storm!

Fresh off her successful Spring Breakers stint, the former Disney star has signed on to the Unified Pictures' music drama Rudderless, E! News confirms.

The film, which marks William H. Macy's directorial debut, also stars newly announced castmembers Billy Crudup, Anton Yelchin and Laurence Fishburne. 

The Shameless star cowrote the original story with Casey Twenter and Jeff Robison. The plot follows a grieving father who forms a band after he discovers a box of his recently deceased son's original music.

Filming is reportedly set begin in Oklahoma in April.
