The Barbadian beauty recently accompanied her on-again, off-again boyfriend Chris Brown to his recent probation violation hearing in Los Angeles. And while many question her choice to stand by her man (he was, after all, making a court appearance over his assault on Rihanna), we absolutely loved the Barbadian beauty's edgy interpretation of a business casual outfit.
We've grown used to the saucy singer posting racy Twitpics of herself in various stages of undress, so it was definitely refreshing to see her in a pretty Christopher Kane button-up that was—gasp!—actually buttoned up all the way. Not only was the collared top conservative enough for the hearing, but RiRi still managed to inject some of her trademark sassy style into her courtroom look, thanks to a punk-rock print of painterly slashes imposed over a feminine floral design.
When paired with her sleek black skinnies and sharp Dolce & Gabbana tote, her fashion-forward floral shirt made for a look that was proper without being prim. But best of all, she remained true to her signature style, which is always a plus!
