Now here's what we call a crowning glory.

Donald Trump's Miss Universe Organization and NBC announced Tuesday that the 2012 Miss Universe pageant will be cohosted by none other than E!'s very own Giuliana Rancic and Watch What Happens Live maestro Andy Cohen.

How's that for a dynamic duo?

The two are set to put the world's most beautiful women through their paces when the pageant comes to Las Vegas on Dec. 19.

Of course, Giuliana and Andy are no strangers to trading zingers onstage together: Both have cohosted the Miss USA pageant for two years running now. Expect the duo to supersize their audience, as this year's Miss Universe pageant will be broadcast live to an estimated one billion (!) viewers in 190 countries.

And although the big night is still two months away, the run-up to the pageant has already generated its fair share of headlines.

In April, pageant organizers made history by revising guidelines to allow transgender contestants to compete after transgender Miss Universe Canada hopeful Jenna Talackova was disqualified from her local competition.

And last month, Miss USA Olivia Culpo sparked giddy chatter after Olympian hottie Ryan Lochte all but confirmed that the two were dating.

Betcha can't wait for that swimsuit competition now.
