Marilyn Monroe, Something's Gotta Give, Heath Ledger, Dark Knight, Whitney Houston, Sparkle

Alicia Gbur/Sony Pictures; Stephen Vaughan/DC Comics; FOX

Whitney Houston sadly won't be around for the premiere of her last film Sparkle, but she'll surely be there in spirit. Though the late legend passed away earlier this year, audience members will have the opportunity to hear the songstress sing once last time.

Houston is not the first star to leave us before the debut of his or her last film. She joins such late greats such Heath Ledger—who not only posthumously starred, but won an Oscar for The Dark Knight—and Marilyn Monroe, whose last film was premiered unfinished.
