Children's Hospital Colorado is trying to ease the pain as best they can.

E! News has learned that the medical bills of the victims from The Dark Knight Rises tragedy in Aurora, Colo., who are patients in the hospital will be covered.

"Children's Hospital Colorado's mission has always been to provide the very best care possible to all children who need it regardless of their ability to pay," they told E! News in a statement. "This mission supports the care we have been providing to both child and adult victims of last week's shooting incident."

"Our hospital charity care program along with donations that have been directed to us and our physician partners to support victims of the shooting will be used to cover medical expenses for those who do not have insurance, and for those who do have insurance, we will waive any and all co-pays or deductible related expenses. We are committed to supporting these families as they heal."

Additionally, a rep from Warner Bros. studio confirmed yesterday that they've been in touch with Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper's office and have made a "substantial" donation through givingfirst.org, a program of Colorado's Community First Foundation, some of which will help cover medical expenses.

In another attempt to brighten the mood of patients, Christian Bale visited victims at the Medical Center of Aurora yesterday.

The actor reportedly spent over two hours visiting with five people still being treated at Aurora and another two who came from another Colorado hospital, the Swedish Medical Center.

"Words cannot express the horror that I feel," Bale said in a statement, "I cannot begin to truly understand the pain and grief of the victims and their loved ones, but my heart goes out to them."
