To paraphrase his dad's famous line from Wall Street, pleas are good.

Cameron Douglas' girlfriend, Kelly Sott, pleaded guilty today to a misdemeanor drug charge in a deal with the feds that will likely see her avoid further jail time.

Sott, 33, admitted in Manhattan federal court to possession of amphetamines. In return, the U.S. Attorney's Office agreed to drop the more serious charge that she tried to smuggle heroin in an electric toothbrush to Michael Douglas' eldest son while he was under house arrest last summer.

Prosecutors state in court docs they will not pursue further criminal charges for her "participation in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy" with her actor beau or for "her participation in the distribution and possession with intent to distribute heroin."

Douglas, 31, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute drugs and heroin possession after he was collared last July. The third-generation member of the Hollywood dynasty struck a deal of his own that will include a minimum(!) 10-year sentence.

Douglas' sentencing is set for April 27. As for Sott, because she's already served more than the six-month sentence suggested by federal guidelines, she's due to be released in the next few weeks. She'll also face a maximum fine of $5,000.
