After launching her massive "O, Yes I Can!" campaign to get on the cover of O magazine and Oprah then granting this wish way back in March, we finally have the actual glossy featuring Ellen DeGeneres looking superexcited to pose with the great O.

So was it worth the wait? Well, the December issue marks only the second time the daytime talk-show queen has ever shared the cover with another human. Michelle Obama being the first.

And Ellen even one-ups the first lady with a double cover:

Sorry, the second cover isn't the two ladies covered in only bows as Ellen had imagined. Maybe next year? (Gross.)

And what's that? Oprah has something to say about this momentous occasion...Quiet, everyone!

"When Ellen arrived at the photo shoot for our cover, I didn't have to ask her how she was doing: it showed on her face," says Oprah. "She radiated the kind of peace and satisfaction that comes only when you're living at your highest potential."

Yes, you know you've reached your highest potential after landing an O magazine cover. So congrats to Ellen, Michelle Obama and all these dogs. Remember, everyone: Dream big, then get your own talk show to promote those dreams and one day they might come true. You've got the power!

You might recall Ellen's Halloween costume was an O magazine cover, that's just how much she loves Oprah. Check it out in our Famous Festive Fiends gallery.
