Bring out the red carpet, because this high school senior is feeling like a true Hollywood star.
Before it was time for the biggest dance of the school year, Jessica Casanova sent a tweet out to Gina Rodriguez asking if she could wear her 2015 Golden Globes dress to prom. As it turns out, the lucky student got that and so much more.
Before kicking off Memorial Day weekend, Jessica was able to wear the same strapless Badgley Mischka gown Gina wore when she snagged her award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series.
"Gina's dress made me feel like a princess and it gave me chills knowing that it was something that came from her heart and I cherish that very much," Jessica shared with E! News. "I wish I could give her a big hug and tell her how much I love her. She will always have a special place in my heart."
If the dress wasn't enough, the Jane the Virgin star also recorded a video where she wished her high school fan a great night at prom.
"She took the time even with a busy schedule to make sure my day was going great," Jessica shared. "It meant so much."
The prom magic started in January of this year when Jessica tweeted the actress hoping to wear her Golden Globes attire to prom. With less than 350 followers, the high school student didn't exactly expect one of her favorite stars to even respond.
But as it turns out, Gina was more than willing to help and make the dreams come true. "Where do you live? I only own my first globes dress the one from last year...maybe we can make this happen," she wrote on Twitter. "Let's talk about it. I'm reaching out."
The rest of the story is history.
"There are not enough words I could possibly say to show her what she has done," Jessica shared with E! News. "Thanks to her, I will never forget my night."
