Such was the case on Tuesday during Tina Fey's conversation with Howard Stern for his Sirius XM talk show.
From discussing her thoughts on the 2016 Oscars to Leonardo DiCaprio's sex life, her love for Selena Gomez and her fangirl moment with Caitlyn Jenner, the comedienne didn't hold back while chatting with the controversial host, and we're so glad she didn't.
Here are 9 highlights from the interview:
1. She has words for those criticizing Chris Rock's hosting: Comparing their unhappiness to ordering Spaghetti at the Cheesecake factory, she said, "This is what you ordered–you wanted this," adding, "I thought his monologue was fantastic."
2. She has some real thoughts on the 2016 Oscars overall: "I would say being at the Oscars, and I don't know if you guys feel this way when you go out there, but I am so glad I live here. Because half ways through I was like, 'This is some real Hollywood bulls—t!,'" she explained. "Everyone is telling me what to do and it was like, people are yelling at me about rape and telling me about corporate greed, but really it's climate change. I was like, 'Guys, pick a lane. Too much coming at me. Also, you are all rich, why are you yelling at me about corporate greed?'"
3. She also has some real thoughts about Leonardo DiCaprio and his many models partners: "Is it misogynistic to sleep with a bunch of women who want to sleep with you? No. I don't think it's misogynistic," she said. "I think everybody there is up for it, but also he's still cute."
4. She's a big Caitlyn Jenner fan: "The best sighting I had [at the Oscars] was Caitlyn Jenner. I was trying so hard to have a moment with her, and I was trying to make eye contact…But she was not having me. Not on purpose [though]," Fey explained, adding, "She looked fantastic."
5. She's also a Selena Gomez fan: "She is so sweet," Fey said, explaining how she ran into the singer at the Vanity Fair Oscars party. "She's a nice girl. We share a makeup artist some times. That's why we look so much alike sometimes!"
6. She knows how to take a selfie with the right person: At one point during the Oscars, Michael Strahan began to take a selfie with the actress without asking her. She brushed it off however speaking some seriously true words, "I didn't mind. Anyone who is super tall, I love taking a selfie with them because you look better."
7. She refuses to get naked for a job: "I think I missed the window," she tells Stern. "Somebody asked me to do a play recently, and I think it was a really good play with a really good actor…And it was a play where I had to be naked. And I'm out. Can you imagine in an uncontrolled environment in the theater? Hell no! Nightmare!"
8. Her mom once caught her nip-slip at the Emmys: She recalled, "I had a nip-slip at the Emmy's a couple of years ago. Really, really minor. I found out about it because my mom called me the next day, saying, 'I saw your nip-slip!'…She knows everything."
9. She's Working on Mean Girls the Musical: "My husband's doing the music and a woman named Benjamin is working on the lyrics."
