Ten pounds of food isn't for the faint of heart

When you try to take on Hercules' diet plan, you know you're setting yourself up for failure—or at least some serious stomach issues.

But one such brave soul from Complex decided that he would try Dwayne Johnson's eating plan, which includes 10 pounds of food which tallies up to more than 4,000 calories. Sadly, for us mere plebeians with normal muscle ratios, eating that much food is going to have your face in the toilet bowl for a long time. This guy, however, wouldn't be put down by the challenge.

Needless to say, it doesn't go well. For starters, the daredevil despises fish and this diet calls for more than 30 ounces of cod per day. It was already a losing game, my friend.

"He has to eat this way because he's the cover of Men's Fitness," he says. "A guy like me, on the other hand, you just don't eat that much. You workout four times a week, and things just kind of take care of themselves."

We have to give credit where credit is due because he makes it all the way to 2:20 p.m. before blowing chunks for the first time. And even though he says he feels terrible he keeps a positive attitude.

"In a weird way it might have been a blessing because it just opens up room for the next meal," he says.

During each meal he tries to keep active by hitting the gym to "free up" space in his stomach, but with not enough time in the day to eat it all, he starts eating steak and broccoli while lifting weights LOL.

"I'm not a quitter, but I'm also not The Rock," he says with his head held high. "I respect the hell out of Dwayne Johnson."

Unfortunately, this much smaller man was unable to complete the challenge, but like he says, The Rock has more than 100 pounds on him. Feeling confident in how far he got, the Complex employee challenges others to try what he couldn't accomplish.
