Funny or DieWe may not have a female lead in True Detective (yet), but now the Internet has bequeathed us Tiny Detectives starring Kate Mara and Ellen Page.
The pint-sized ladies with an aversion to stepladders star in the Funny or Die spoof of the hit HBO drama. For your information: House of Cards star Mara is 5 foot two inches and X-Men's Page is 5 foot 1 inch. They can't see the Yellow King's face through a crowd of policemen and won't take assistance in seeing blood splatters.
We'd watch this show. Just saying.

Meanwhile, in real True Detective land, Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn were announced as the new stars of season two. Other roles remain to be cast and Friday Night Lights veteran Taylor Kitsch, Mad Men's Elisabeth Moss and The Notebook's Rachel McAdams have all been rumored for the new season. Season two's official description: "Three police officers and a career criminal must navigate a web of conspiracy in the aftermath of a murder."
Production is set to begin this fall in California with creator Nic Pizzolatto writing and Fast and the Furious veteran Justin Lin directing the first two episodes.
