In news that should surprise no one: supermodel Gisele Bundchen will be the next face of Chanel No. 5. The announcement comes just a day after the French brand released Bündchen's flawless ad for its beauty line Les Beiges.

The upcoming campaign will be directed by Moulin Rouge's Baz Luhrmann, and is rumored to already be in production, according to Women's Wear Daily. The website reported that the shoot will take place in the posh backdrops of the Hamptons and New York City, and that the commercial will air at the end of this year.

Luhrmann directed Nicole Kidman's ultra-romantic ad for Chanel No. 5 back in 2004. And who could forget Brad Pitt's short (and awkward) stint as the fragrance's first male face in 2012?

But let's not forget Chanel No. 5's ultimate star—Miss Marilyn Monroe, who still is associated with the oh-so seductive scent as the original Chanel No. 5 leading lady.

What do you think of Gisele as the latest face of Chanel No. 5?
