Jake Gyllenhaal and ex-girlfriend Alyssa Miller were all smiles Wednesday when they were spotted taking her dog for a walk on the streets of NYC.
Prior to today, the two hadn't been seen together since their six-month affair "fizzled out" right before the holidays.
"Things were really good between Jake and Alyssa right up until he had to leave for L.A. to go shoot a movie [Nightcrawler] in the fall, then the distance just really got to them," said a source close to the couple.
As happy as the dog-walking duo appear to be, we'll have to wait and see if this reunion is strictly friendly or something more lovey-dovey.
It's not like the 33-year-old heartthrob has been pining away in isolation since the reported split with Alyssa.
Just under two months ago, he was observed having a lively lunch with a mysterious blonde in Rome.
And rumors are swirling that he and Minka Kelly like to "hook up whenever they're single."
