Lady Gaga has a message for her Little Monsters.

The singer placed a heartfelt post on her Born This Way Foundation's website on Monday in the wake of her recent Twitter feud with Perez Hilton.

While Gaga doesn't make direct reference to the gossip columnist, it definitely seems as if their spat (and some of her fans' reaction to it) is the motivation behind the letter.

"I've said this to the fans time and time again, whether it be in person or in tweets, as well as through the message and campaign of the Born This Way Foundation," Gaga wrote. "My mother and I are passionate about tolerance, acceptance, and kindness, and I've made it a point early in my career to make it known that this is what I stand for as an artist."

She continued, "While it may be difficult at times to hear the things that people say and write about me, or the nature of the industry that builds us up to tear us down, I feel the need to address you all here on behalf of the Born this Way Foundation.

"Sending threats of any kind, using hateful or abusive language, and the provoking of others on the internet is not supported by me or anything that I stand for. What I've seen transpiring is wrong and upsetting to me, and I've made it very clear how I feel about equality and compassion."

Gaga added, "I know how angry you feel sometimes, and I know that when they say things about me you feel they are saying them about you as well. But music is about love, and is about sharing in the magic of theater. Although pop culture and society have become more negative and critical of artists over the years, by engaging in this negativity you are allowing it to spread."

The Grammy winner also noted, "The anonymous nature of social media has made it easy for many to vent their anger by bullying others with no recourse or accountability...Stop the Drama, Start the Music."

Gaga's feud with Hilton began last Friday after the singer slammed the celebrity blogger, who openly shared his distaste for Mother Monster's music.

"Still have the text Perez sent me of me in a wheelchair w the words KARMA written across + Madonna pointing a gun at me. Day of my accident," Gaga tweeted. She followed with, "Please monsters do not be affected by someone like this NOTHING merits this kind of hatred. Im ok & I always survive. Ignore him. Just Dance."

Then, on Sunday, Gaga took to Twitter after a fan informed her that Hilton was spotted at her apartment building.

"STAY AWAY FROM ME + MY FAMILY YOU ARE SICK TRYING TO RENT AN APARTMENT IN MY BUILDING TO STALK ME. LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" she tweeted to Hilton.

She later added, "DO I NEED TO BE SHOT IN THE HEAD FOR PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND THAT HIM AND EVERYONE ELSE THAT HARASSES ME HAS GONE TOO FAR? IM A HUMAN BEING."

Hilton himself subsequently released a statement regarding the feud, saying, "My heart hurts that my former very good friend Lady GaGa, a person I used to call 'wifey' and traveled the world with, is making very public and very untrue allegations about me on Twitter...I will say I am a critic and not a stalker.

"Any allegation that I am stalking her is utterly false, defamatory and now appear to be putting me in danger...If fans want to send a message of support to her, they should buy her music instead of sending me death threats."
