MTV has just announced that Lady Gaga is set to open the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.
The singer will take the stage to belt out "Applause," the first single from her highly anticipated album Arrtpop, on Aug. 25 at Brooklyn's Barclay Center.
Mother Monster joins an already impressive list of performers that includes Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke.
And over the weekend, Gaga certainly showed her devotion to fans as she took part in a meet-and-greet in Hollywood.
The Grammy winner happily signed autographs, posed for pictures and, at one point, even attempted to scale a wall to say hello to all those in attendance.
Meanwhile, Artpop is scheduled to drop on Nov. 11.
