Katy Perry Ditches the Candy Land Look for Something More Grown-Up at Tokyo Premiere of Part of Me

At least she still wears shoes the color of taffy, and that makes us smile!

We loved Katy Perry's whipped cream bra era.

Loved it so much that we gained about 8 pounds. But, now that Katy is dressing like a grown-up, we're feeling a vague sadness we can't quite nail down. It's a little like learning that My Little Ponies aren't real, or that candy from China is really made from neoprene and the sugary tears of child workers. Reality is infringing on our fantasy. We're not sure how to cope, except to celebrate the fact that Perry is the new Billboard Woman of the Year.

Then again, this dress is pretty OK. At least it's not black or nude, like every other celebrity dress in America.
